I'm excited to have your attention again as I delve into a series filled with insights on how you can make your space a place you always want to be. As a project manager there are countless times I have had to meet deadlines, and I can tell from experience that one reoccurring factor with every case is the need for commitment or recommitment as the case may be. How do I mean? In one of the most recent cases, I realized the need to have my team work overnight at a project site. As the team lead I could go forceful but trust me it doesn't end well, so I decided to renew my commitment with a statement that goes like: "Guys, would you work overnight if I offer to pay XYZ beyond what we agreed to?' I'm glad you made it to November, a month filled with unusual goodness for you and I 🙏 I kick start the new month with a new series, one that is filled with exciting posts on how you can make your space a place you always want to be. The term 'home advantage' generally speaking, could mean a football match in a home stadium. In specific terms, It could also mean something quite personal like my experience with the traffic congestion across the city of Lagos two days ago, where I had to REROUTE from the way home to an entirely different location, based on my exposure to alternative places I could lay my head in the city of my birth.
