Happy Weekend People,

Hope 2026 is coming up well on your end?

As for me I started out the year with The "Top Moments" Series, sharing knowledge of upcoming events you don't want to miss.

I had shared 6 events and was on the next batch of 3, when I started feeling stuck 😆. The feeling wasn't because I ran out of events to share, but I just felt I could do more.

So I opted to reach out, first with my nephew studying law (shout out to @S.wavy) who talked about moot trials for law students.

And then I stumbled on @Prof. Ademuyiwa's timeline where I discovered another big event.

Also in the process, an idea for a special collaboration you will get to know about in the last slide surfaced. 

At this point it dawned on me; "collaboration is powerful and engaging folks outside my field in conversations when I feel stuck is a great idea ".

Here's what I came up with 👇

It's a decade since two prestigious institutions, University of Lagos and University of Birmingham got into a strategic partnership that has brought about significant developments in the study of medicine and other related fields.

The Well-Come Leap surgical simulation and skill centre highlighted in The "Success Story" Series last December, is one of the several benefits this partnership has produced.

Come Tuesday 27th of January, there will be a stakeholder engagement and partnership showcase, an event for students, professionals and stakeholders in the education sector.

And here is the catch; our dynamic Professor Ademuyiwa will feature as one of the speakers at this Top Moment event.

MOOT COURT

 COMPETITION

 2026 

WIPO is World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the host for the Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition for law students 

Now in its second edition, the competition invites law students under 35 from WIPO Member States to tackle a moot problem on industrial property law – including patents, trademarks, industrial designs and trade secrets.

Although application for 2026 competition is closed, you can still follow up for a chance to experience the In-person finals holding at the WIPO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland this June.

THE 2ND QUARTER- LOVE DON'T COST A THING

  THE  2ND QUARTER: Happy New Month Folks, Trust you are doing great. The 1st quarter of the year is done and dusted and it's amazing how fast it came by. I remember introducing the line up of series for the first 3 months of the year and it still feels like yesterday. Where the objective behind the theme for the 1st quarter (#getdownonit) was to inspire my audience to kick off their aspirations for the year in good time, the theme for the 2nd quarter is more about displacing obstacles hindering you from getting started. The caption "love don't cost a thing", is not just inspired by the title of a popular song by Jennifer Lopez, but also implies this line of thought "what you truly love to do, don't really cost a thing", except that the later caption is too long to catch your attention 😜 I am confident the highlights of series by Consult Kenny Posts for this quarter will not only drive actions but also propel movements in the right direction.
