The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) was established by The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund Law 2016, to tackle unemployment through job and wealth creation.

This initiative has birthed several skill acquisition centers across the city, training thousands of people in various vocational skills like fashion, catering, computer studies, welding, and more.

Beyond training , the LSETF also offer a pathway to economic self-reliance and poverty alleviation by providing loans and grants to help graduates launch their businesses.

POINTS

Now to my global audience,

There are a couple of ways to leverage training platforms and one of the most effective is by attending industry events in your city.

I won't forget the Big5 Exhibition in Dubai a couple of years ago, and how the certificates of attendance with CPD points from their talk rooms gave me access to opportunities in the construction industry even back home in Nigeria.

Also, your access to the internet and A.I should not be under-utilized as it offers a wide range of virtual platforms through which you can get empowered.

Moving forward there is nothing limiting your self-development, you can get started right where you are and right now.
