THE "CATCH UP" SERIES: INTRODUCTION!!!
THE "CATCH UP"
SERIES:
INTRODUCTION!!!
Hi folks,
It's Kenny here again and I welcome you to the sixth month of the year
In addition to the blessings you will enjoy from God in June, I also will attempt to make every weekend this month interesting by sharing extracts from my conversations with some folks in the design and build Industry, whom I haven't had the privilege to reach out to in a while, hence The "Catch up" series.
I should say at this point that it was tough deciding to proceed with this series, not only because I couldn't meet up with the plan to make this a podcast, but also because I had to streamline the list of names of those to be featured, from over 10 to just 3.
I mean that was tough, but thankfully I was able to devise a means to peg the conversations to 3 categories with one person representing each category as personalized by me π
#1:
GENERATION
NEXT
My career as an interior designer and project manager spans over a decade which implies there are patterns, cycles and trends I have observed over the years.
One of the reoccurring decimals is seeing younger folks go through the processes I have once gone through.
For instance, I have seen interns become freelancers and then transcend to running their own outfit just like me.
So I thought to catch up with the upcoming generation, engaging one of the fast risers in the industry.
I bet you can't wait to see this.
#2:
THE
ADVENTURER
You will be amazed at how many things I and some of my contemporaries have tried out in the course of building our career and businesses.
From graphic design to animation, music production, catering and even having to learn new languages in the course of exploring new territories; the list is endless.
One of the folks that inspires me a great deal is an architect, a visual designer, rap artist, multi-linguist and an adventurer who once went sea diving, just to mention a few.
I'm sure you are like 'what?' π
Make sure you don't miss this.
#3:
THE
STICKLER
A stickler is any person who insists on a certain quality or type of behaviour.
Just as I'm a stickler to helping you make the best of your spaces, there are some folks I have met on the job who insist on doing things right
They overlook the pressures and damn the consequences that come with doing the right thing.
I'm privileged to have a couple of such folks around me and I thought to reach out to this particular dude who is a stickler to having my back π
Please follow through this series and you will be glad you did.
Meanwhile, I remain committed to helping you make the best out of your space.
