THE

"HOME

ADVANTAGE "

SERIES 2:

THE

GENERIC!!!

Hi folks,

Trust this post meets you well.

I'm excited to have your attention again as I delve into a series filled with insights on how you can make your space a place you always want to be.

As a project manager there are countless times I have had to meet deadlines, and I can tell from experience that one reoccurring factor with every case is the need for commitment or recommitment as the case may be.

How do I mean?

In one of the most recent cases, I realized the need to have my team work overnight at a project site. As the team lead I could go forceful but trust me it doesn't end well, so I decided to renew my commitment with a statement that goes like:

"Guys, would you work overnight if I offer to pay XYZ beyond what we agreed to?'

Energy level went high right on the spot, and of course the response was in the affirmative.

I say this to let you know it is possible to achieve the goal for a transformed space in 2025, if only you are willing to commit or recommit to the general ideas I will be sharing to that effect 👇

#1:

RESURFACING

This is arguably the most common solution to transforming a space and that's because it's usually an obvious thing to do.

For example everyone knows when the paints on the walls are faded, and then painting (a type of resurfacing solution) becomes the visible option.

There are several other options like wallpapers and wall panelling for walls, and then one can go with simple alternatives like an accent rug on an existing floor as seen in the picture attached.

So if I may ask, would you commit to resurfacing if I offer to help you identify the most suitable resurfacing solution to your space?

#2:

ARCHITRAVING

Perhaps not a right English word as this was hastily coined by me, but I assure you this idea works perfectly.

Architraves apply to quite a number of elements in your space, from the doors to the protrusions and recesses (as seen in the picture attached).

Besides the ease of installing one, architraves can be time and budget friendly depending on the material in use.

So if I may ask, would you commit to architraving if I offer to help you identify the most appropriate element to architrave in your space?

#3:

ACCENTING

Making the best of what's already existing is another idea you can commit to, which makes accenting a good option for a cost effective and quick upgrade of your space this season.

Spotlighting is one good way to accent and that can be done with a light fitting placed around an already existing art piece.

Augmenting is another option, which can be achieved with a colorful soft furnishing running through a well maintained antique furniture piece as seen in the picture attached.

Many options are available to pick from, and I'm willing to help as you commit to make the best of your space this November.

And I dare to say I and my team will work overnight if you commit to the Consult Kenny PLUS subscription.
