THE "GO WAY BACK" SERIES 2: THE ORGANISER!!

THE

"GO WAY

BACK"

SERIES 2:

THE

ORGANISER!!

Hello there,

I guess you are doing great and making the best of April.

If I can't tell of anyone making the best of their time, at least I know of my son whose bed laying skill got me impressed as he practised house keeping during the holiday.

While basking in the euphoria of this impression, it dawned on me that his dad (yours sincerely) is an excellent bed maker. I'm not bragging guys, if I was a bed maker by profession, I will be laying beds for presidents 😂

This discovery became an inspiration for today's post as I reiterate the catch phrase for this series; "NOTHING IS SUDDEN", there had been a Kenny in existence before Consult Kenny and the same is peculiar to everyone, including you.

In my last post I highlighted the part of me that loves to SCRIBBLE, now let's have a look at the Kenny that's not just good at laying beds but had always loved to organise spaces long before becoming an interior designer.

Here are some instances that validates my claim 👇

#1:

THE

RICH KIDS

Several years ago, I and two siblings of mine "inherited" a space in a family house after everyone else had moved on to other places.

In a few months, the once disorganized space became really decent and well laid out to the awe of every past occupants that came visiting, creating the impression that we had spent a fortune in transforming the space.

What was the secret?

📝 A functional layout of existing furniture

📝 Resurfacing of worn out surfaces

📝 A little bit of accessories here and there

And then

🛏️ A bed well laid 😂

#2:

THE

HAPPY

COUPLE

While I was in the University studying as an undergraduate, I had a favourite family I always wanted to spend my weekends with, and that's for two reasons:

🖊️ Free meal + cable T.V

💰 Food stuff + stipend

Because I didn't want to get all these values for nothing in return I ensured the entire apartment sparkled before my weekend stay was over.

The smile in the faces of this gracious couple each time I came through as an organiser, far outweighed the gifts I got from them.

Thanks @ Mr. Tunde and Mrs. Toke Oke, and congrats on your 22nd wedding anniversary 🎉👐

#3:

THE

FAST

LEARNER

My access into the world of interior design started in 2010 with an internship opportunity at Design Options (now D.O II), where I had the privilege to learn the use of AutoCAD for space planning.

The pace at which I was able to learn considering I had no background in architecture, is another indication of my innate ability to organise spaces.

Thanks to one of the finest Architects I have ever known @Arc. Ifidon Unuigbe for guiding me through 🙏

Every instance I have mentioned in this post emphasizes the fact that we all have some innate abilities that nature has freely bestowed on us, and taking time to reflect on our past is one way to discover how to put those abilities to better use moving forward.

If you would like to have my organising skills feature on your next project, then go ahead to start a conversation using the link below 👇
