THE 'TO-THE-RESCUE' SERIES: WHEN-THE-SHOES- TAKE-OVER!!!
Hi folks,
Trust you are doing great.
I hope it's been worthwhile following my posts on the "To-The-Rescue" series, as I highlight situations where I was able to rescue folks in dire need of an interior designer to intervene in chaotic situations in their spaces.
My previous posts featured scenarios 1 and 2, while I have scenario 3 lined up for today's post.
Let's head straight to the business of the day π:
*THE CASE*
Scenario 3 is about a chaotic situation where shoes had invaded the entryway, stair area and even bedrooms of this particular family that called for help.
*THE HOW/ MY ASSESSMENT*
In assessing space issues, it is important to note there are some issues related to project management factors like Cost, Time and Communication (as it is with Scenarios 1 and 2), while in other cases, the space issues are simply lifestyle related.
Having assessed the situation, I came to realise the critical issue for this scenario is with *PRIORITY*
The inflow of shoes surpassed the storage capacity of shoe racks simply because higher priority was placed on other items, hence the need to devise a creative and effective means of storing just shoes.
*THE SOLUTION*
So we decided to utilize unusual spaces like underneath stairs, crevices and recesses for shoe storage (see picture above).
It's needful I mention that this solution is a continuous process to be executed in phases as this amiable family is still in the business of buying shoes π
Just like this family, you will be doing the right thing to contact me whenever there is need for creative solutions to tackle issues within your space.
And this is where I draw the curtains on this series, thanks for your attention all the way ππΌ.
Please lookout for the line of interesting series for the 2nd quarter in my next post.
I'm Kenny, an interior designer and project manager.
