THE "BEAUTY IN THE MESS" SERIES: WALLS, WORKTOPS AND FLOORS!!!
Hello everyone, how are you doing today?
It's time to launch the new series scheduled for the month of July, so let's get it started.
Often times we get to believe the impressions of pitch perfect spaces highlighted on pages of interior design magazines and lifestyle shows, forgetting that making a mess of the spaces we live in and work from is only normal.
Maybe I should mention that most of those spaces you see are staged for sales and marketing purposes.
So, just before you fret over the greases on the floor or the crayon marks on the walls, let me have your attention through this series as I share insights on how you can evoke beauty out of messy spaces.
There are a million and one ways to make beauty out of messy spaces, but for the sake of precision, I would like to focus on π
*#1: WALLS*
At some point, we have all been guilty of making a mess of walls, whether it's with graffiti on graduation day (Kenny was here π) or accidental spillages, walls will always get messy.
So if you have issues with messy walls, just hang on for my next post, as I share ideas that will help you either get rid of the mess or make something meaningful out of it.
*#2: WORK TOPS*
From kitchen to studios and offices, worktops are huge on mess and it gets more annoying when the cost of overhauling them is overboard.
So what's the most suitable way to make the best of messy worktops?
Perhaps you guessed right, but wait till I present some other alternatives on the subject.
*#3: FLOORS*
Aha!!!
Personally I have a distaste for dirt and stains on the floor, so you would almost find me clearing the floor at intervals beyond normal π.
But what do you do in cases where you have stains/marks that just wouldn't give way on the floor?
If you are like me, then keep your attention on this series as I bring to fur simple but effective means to tackling mess on the floor.
Oh, I just found another dirt to clear on the floor π, so while I'm at it please remember to always get in touch on matters relating to your space.
I'm Kenny, an interior designer and project manager.
