THE "LIFE-AFTER-DEATH" (L.A.D) SERIES

DISCARD OR REVIVE!!!

Hello folks,

9 hearty cheers to the beautiful month of September, may this month be filled with memories of good happenings for you and your loved ones.

It's always a delight launching a new series for the month, and I can only wonder if any series will be worthwhile without the attention of my amiable audience. Thanks for your attention and feedback all the time πŸ™

Let's do it again, this time, with The "Life-After-Death" (L.A.D) series, as I seek to help you discover means by which you can revive furniture pieces and other items in your space, after their expected lifespan.

When it comes to letting go or holding on to items in our spaces, we all weigh differently from one extreme to the other, however there are specifics that should form a bottom line for our decision to either DISCARD or REVIVE.

So what are these bottom lines? πŸ‘‡πŸΌ

#1: RENEWABILITY

Is it renewable?

With advocacy for renewable energy getting stronger by the day, going recycling or renewal is now a smart move compared to outright discarding of items.

Have a look at this image for instance, where wine bottles are now being reused as lamp stands.

I'll be sharing more of such smart acts in upcoming posts along this series.

#2: ECONOMICS

If you are like me, chances are you would hold on to used up items longer than usual πŸ˜†, and that's largely for economic reasons.

The truth is folks like us are on high demand these days, as economic intelligence becomes a key factor to boosting purchasing power in our world today.

So instead of opting for a new one, let's see how we can inject life into what we have at hand, just as it is with the furniture piece in the picture attached.

#3: FEELINGS

I am tempted to think we all feel good when we see a new life emerge out of used items, but then that might not be true in all cases.

Perhaps seeing dead stuff come alive is therapeutic for you, then let's get some good feelings into the air as I reach out to some of my audiences on a revive and revamp mission in the course of this series.

It's from these perspectives I will anchor our conversation on a series that promises to be both interesting and engaging.

Trust me, you will be having a great time on every single post and slide by Consult Kenny, this September.

Keep your fingers crossed 🀞, and do not hesitate to get in touch on matters relating to your space.

I'm Kenny, an interior designer and project manager.
