THE "LAST BUT NOT LEAST" SERIES 3:
FUEL YOUR HOBBY!!!
Hello folks,
Happy weekend and trust you are doing great.
The "Last But Not Least" series has been the point of attention in October and so far I have been able to draw my audience's attention to six (6) crucial but not so pronounced items that are grossly neglected in many spaces.
You can check them out on https://www.blogger.com/u/1/blog/posts/611154423946289818
At first, I approached this series from the angle of utility items, then moved to safety items in my last post. This time around as I bring the series to a close, let's focus on items that have to do with your hobbies.
I hereby present four (4) items that will effectively fuel your hobbies within your work and living spaces π
If you love music, dancing or perhaps you do a lot of singing along (like me) in your space, then this is for you.
Ceiling speakers afford you the luxury of listening to the same sound everywhere within your space without having to move a device around with you.
#8:
ARCHWAYS
Yes archways, but not every archway.
It's important I mention that the primary function of an archway is for transiting from one part of a space to another, so ideally it shouldn't be obstructed.
However, in cases where they exceed the required space for passage, condoning off a part of an archway to serve activities around your hobby is never a bad idea.
See what I mean with the picture of this breakfast table fitted into an archway, a perfect place for catching up with friends and loved ones.
#9:
WINDOW SILLS
This is one element that's often time unnoticed in spaces, and yet it hold a phenomenal potential for not only beauty but also for hobbies.
So if you are a lover of plants/flowers for instance, your window sills are great for a line up of different species of them.
I guarantee you will enjoy the serenity that comes with nurturing natural plants and seeing them grow.
#10:
RECESS SHELVES
There is hardly a space without a recess, and most of the time they are left as vaccum due to our inability to make something useful of them.
Recesses are great for shelfing and you can incorporate shelves that propel your favourite hobby, like reading, games, and even laundry as shown in this picture.
Trust me when I say there is no limit to what you can do with recesses, it just requires some creativity, and if u need some help finding a use for your recess do not hesitate to keep in touch.
In rounding up this series, I should say thank you to my lovely audience for your attention, I look forward to hearing from you and helping you make the best of your spaces.
I'm Kenny, an interior designer and project manager.
