THE "LAST BUT NOT LEAST" SERIES

TAKE 3!!!

Hello peeps,

Trust you are doing great.

Having introduced the line up of series for the last quarter of the year, it's time to get down to business.

If you have ever been stuck, unable to carry out important tasks within your space, simply because you ignored an item that's not so pronounced but crucial, then you would have to pay attention to The "Last But Not Least" series.

As a Project manager I'm aware there is room for slight negligence which is permitted within the premise of what is called 'oversight', however my approach on this series is from the angle of GROSS negligence, which is usually the case with projects that do not have professionals on board.

So as I assume my audience largely consist of folks who are not experts in project management, my post might include items that appear too unbelievable to be ignored by a professional.

For constraint of time allow me to share 10 of these items with you on this series, beginning with 3 in today's post πŸ‘‡

#1: UTILITY STORAGE CABINETS

The picture of this well organized restroom would resonate with the imagination of an average person, however how close do we get to having this as a reality?

Beyond bedrooms and kitchens, storage cabinets are needed in every space including restrooms, yes I repeat restrooms. And that's one effective way to keep your private spaces as orderly as possible.

So when next you think storage, be sure your restroom, bathroom and other spaces that are not so pronounced are included in your plans.

#2: DAY BLIND

Curtain look great on windows but beyond beauty they should serve a major purpose which is PRIVACY.

Day blind/underlay is a component of window treatment that's often neglected as they are seen by many as double cost and therefore ignored.

Whether it's in form of sheers or blinds, day blinds help retain privacy while you enjoy every bit of sunlight that comes into your space when your curtains are stacked, and they should not be neglected for fear of cost or your unwillingness to try them out.

#3: SOCKETS & SWITCHES

Before you ask, who neglects sockets and switches ina space?

This point so much about negligence but so much about making sockets and switches and afterthought. Now you know I'm talking to you πŸ˜„

In my opinion, sockets and switches are the most mispositioned and under-maximized items in most spaces, yet they can significantly improve the living and working experience in your space if only well laid out.

Are you having issues in this regard?, then I guess it's time you get in touch with me. I just might be of help in many ways than you think.

I'm Kenny, an interior designer and project manager.
