THE "YOU CAN COUNT ON ME" SERIES 2
WHO AM I?!!!
Happy weekend peeps,
Trust this post meets you well.
I introduced a new series in my last post with the intention to establish trust with my audience, kindly check it out using the link below if you haven't done so.
https://consultkenny3.blogspot.com/2023/11/the-you-can-count-on-me-series.html
As I delve further into The "You Can Count On Me" series, it's important I emphasize that the primary objective of the Consult Kenny brand is to help my audience HAVE OR EXPERIENCE what they KNOW OR LEARN on this platform.
So if you have been following the Consult Kenny posts and have gained insights on how you can make the best of your space, then what's stopping you from engaging me?. Perhaps it's TRUST
Now there are several ways to build trust with people, one is by genuinely and humbly telling them who you are, another is by clearing the waves about who you are not. Today's post will be a blend of both and here is what I meanπ:
#1:
MEET KENNY
I am Kehinde Olayinka (a.k.a Kenny)
- a certified interior designer and project manager with over a decade of work experience in the 'design and build' industry.
- a trained business administrator with investments in construction, real estate and city development sectors.
- an adventurous business enthusiast with interest in agriculture, mining, extractive and education sectors.
- I founded Feet and Inches in 2013, Consult Kenny in 2020 and sit on the board of other establishments I'm not permitted to mention here.
- I value productivity, family, relationships, devotion, humanity, among others.
- I love music, prayer and food
And I'm sure you know there is a limit to the letters I can type in here π
#2:
WHAT I DO
- I design spaces and ensure they are built to the specifications in the design.
- I supervise and manage projects, majoring in construction and development.
- I estimate execution costs for projects and ensure they are not exceeded in reality.
- I engage and manage vendors for procurements and artisans for production, maintenance and installations.
- I source and leverage opportunities that add value to every investment made by my clients.
And I can go on and on.
Please note that my next post will take this further as I talk about what's expected of me.
#3: WHAT I DON'T DO
- I don't assume I know more than my clients, they are mostly more learned and exposed than I am.
- I don't underestimate my prospects (learned/unlearned, exposed or otherwise), I always pay attention to what they have to say.
- I usually don't take the center stage, if you want to know how valuable I am, then check out the outcome of my project.
- I don't steal the praise when things go well, neither do I trade blames in down times.
Let's leave it here for now and please pardon me if I appeared arrogant for any of the assertions made above.
Now that you have an idea of who I am and a glimpse of who I am not, I need you to help me kickstart a journey of building trust with you, by engaging me on your next project.
Please feel free to contact me whenever you (or anyone you know) needs a help on space related matters.
I'm Kenny, an interior designer and project manager.
