Happy weekend peeps,  I guess this post meets you well and I hope to leave a good mark as I take the last shot on a series that has been all about The "Life Of A Project Manager". Till date I have addressed this series from two perspectives: - GLITCHES: emphasizing the importance of ensuring due diligence in minimizing the effect of glitches on a project. - CONSTRAINTS: identifying key factors that could be a clog in the wheel of a project and taking proactive measures to mitigate against such. Please refer to https://shorturl.at/PQNjW for a read When it comes to projects there is a place for emotions, communication, interest etc, and at the forefront of this is the need to understand these factors in order to manage humans in a manner that drives positive outcomes on the project. With over a decade of experience managing projects, I have come across a couple of glitches and I realise that most (if not all) are as a result of failure to observe due diligence. Majority of my works feature on construction sites and existing buildings, and as a project manager I am expected to liaise with engineers, facility managers and other stakeholders who are to provide necessary guidelines for project activities, however there are times when we get so familiar with the terrain, and as ...

I'm super excited as I lead my wonderful audience into a new series, one that highlights real life situations from my experience as a project manager, as I seek to expose some intricacies of project management in a simple (perhaps funny) yet insightful way. Since this is not a project managers conference, and my audience consist of people from different works of life, it is important I adopt a multi-faceted approach so as to ensure ease of comprehension. Therefore I will address The "Life Of A Project Manager" Series from 3 perspectives, namely 👇🏼 #1: GLITCHES This is where I address scenarios that are technical in nature, from bursted pipes during installation to unexpected fire alarm triggers and more. The objective of this perspective is to call your attention to the need for due diligence on your projects, whether its constructio...
