THE "LIFE OF A PROJECT MANAGER" SERIES: INTRO!!!
THE "LIFE OF A PROJECT MANAGER"
SERIES:
INTRO!!!
Hi folks,
A happy and blessed month to you all, I guess you are doing great.
I'm super excited as I lead my wonderful audience into a new series, one that highlights real life situations from my experience as a project manager, as I seek to expose some intricacies of project management in a simple (perhaps funny) yet insightful way.
Since this is not a project managers conference, and my audience consist of people from different works of life, it is important I adopt a multi-faceted approach so as to ensure ease of comprehension.
Therefore I will address The "Life Of A Project Manager" Series from 3 perspectives, namely ππΌ
#1:
GLITCHES
This is where I address scenarios that are technical in nature, from bursted pipes during installation to unexpected fire alarm triggers and more.
The objective of this perspective is to call your attention to the need for due diligence on your projects, whether its construction (as it is in my own case) or even in other fields that might be peculiar to you.
Kindly watch out for this on my next post
#2:
CONSTRAINTS
Often times once a project is embarked on, you literarily just signed up to potential constraints which could be in form of time, funds and several other unexpected challenges that poses restrictions on the project.
As I share some of my experiences with you in this series, I hope to highlight some effective ways to foresee and prepare for such constraints.
#3:
HUMANS
When it comes to projects there is a place for emotions, communication, interest etc, and at the forefront of this is the need to understand and manage human relationships in a manner that drives positive outcomes on the project.
You will get to realize the effect that culture, language, and other factors have on projects as I bring you into the world of a project manager through my posts on this series.
I sincerely anticipate an insightful line up on this one, even as I look forward to hearing from you whenever the need arise to make the best of your space.
