"PRECIOUS
MOMENTS
(P.M)"
SERIES 2:
CEREMONIALS!!!
Hi folks,
Trust you are doing great and hope October is coming on well.
Still on The "Precious Moments (P.M) series where I aim to guide my audience on how to create the right ambience for the precious moments in their spaces, so they can be more delightful and memorable. I guess it's been insightful.
My last post highlighted key components to consider for anniversaries, while today's post will emphasize what should be in place for any fixed set of formal acts performed on important social or religious occasions like graduation, prize giving day, inaugural speech and so on
Just before I proceed, I should say this series is inspired by my lovely wife, Precious 💞. This is a claim that will afford me good sleep and sumptuous meal this weekend 😃😘❤️
So now to the business of the day, what makes cermonials worthwhile?👇
#1:
HAVE
A
BACKDROP
If you have ever walked into a ceremony only to wonder if you are in the right one, then chances are high there is no backdrop indicating the event you are in for.
Backdrops help a great deal and should be considered for ceremonials, however caution has to be taken when it comes to formal events so the guests don't fix their gaze on what's projected rather than the host.
For ceremonial backdrops, I would recommend texts with minimal graphics.
#2:
LEVERAGE
INCENTIVES
Make your ceremony memorable by leveraging elements like plaques and badges to recognize the presence of key guests and others who have contributed to your success story.
Trust me, no one forgets an event with honour in a long time.
Now the answer to the question of how many people to offer incentives will depend on your budget and how much control you have over the event.
#3:
IMBIBE
RITUALS
Every ceremonials have their rituals and traditions;
There is the "cap toss" for graduation ceremony
The lifting of veil for a book launch
The cutting of ribbon for a grand opening
And the list goes on and on.
The amount of space required for setting up a ritual or tradition would vary depending on the ceremony and the space you have available.
Be sure to ask the event planner for guidance.
