THE "PRECIOUS MOMENTS (P.M)" SERIES 3: HOME COMING
THE
"PRECIOUS MOMENTS
(P.M)"
SERIES 3:
HOMECOMING!!!
Hello there,
Trust this post meets you well
October has been an exciting month in many ways, especially with the celebration of precious moments like my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary just to name a few.
In light of this I thought to guide my audience on how to create the right ambience for the precious moments in their spaces, so they can be more delightful and memorable.
At first I shared some insights on Anniversaries, and then my last post was about Ceremonials. Now let's delve into HOMECOMING.
Homecoming simply defined is an instance of returning home, and with Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year celebrations fast approaching, there will definitely be a lot of homecoming.
Come with me (both the host and the homecomer) as I share some ideas in my last post on The "Precious Moments" Series๐
#1:
MAXIMISE
COMMON
SPACES
No doubt, It's great to have a comfy bedroom for a good sleep if you are hosting a homecomer, however do not forget to include common spaces like hallways, gardens, front porch and other sections of the home that ignites good memories through the period you are spending together.
You can setup game boards, movie sceneries and other elements that will trigger laughter, banters and joyful memories in shared spaces.
#2:
DINING
MATERS
I bet you will agree that homecoming is not complete without good food, and the better the dining setup, the better the impression you leave the homecomer with.
Invest in simple ad ons like table runners, charger plates and other dining accessories that leaves a part of the homecomer's heart behind in your space even after they are long gone.
Just be sure it's not the most crucial part of their heart that is left behind ๐
#3:
DON'T
FORGET
THE
GIFTS
When it comes to homecoming, sharing of gifts is somewhat customary and should never be undermined.
The homecomer is expected to bring some gifts along, while the host will also do well to have something handy upon the arrival of the guest.
Of course there is no rule of thumb as to what gift is perfect for a homecoming but we are all expected to do best per time.
And here is where I cap it all on this series, I hope I did some justice to the subject matter. Thank you all for your attention ๐.
Please do not hesitate to keep in touch on any matter relating to your space, it all begins with a click ๐
