THE "1ST IMPRESSIONS" SERIES 2: POINT OF EASE

THE

"FIRST

 IMPRESSIONS"

 SERIES 2:

POINTS

OF

EASE

Happy weekend folks, trust this post meets you well.

It's me again calling for your attention as I share insights on how you can create a good and lasting impression of your spaces.

As I take this series further, I would like to emphasize that there are a couple of means to creating a lasting first impression of your space, however my approach is from an interior designer's P.O.V.

I started out with the spotlight on Points Of Entry and now I will be addressing this subject from the angle of ease hence the sub-title; Points Of Ease.

If the point of entry to a space hardly impress you then you are probably more of an analytical person than a visual person, but I should say regardless of the side you fall into, there is hardly a person who wouldn't be impressed by the ease they experience in a space.

Having this in mind, it's therefore important to be intentional about creating ease in your space and my aim is to help you identify some points to start with.

Please come with me 👇

#1:

ORDER

Enforcing order in spaces wouldn't seem to be a big deal in some climes but the experience is not the same in some other parts of the world (I won't mention names 😜)

If you belong to the later clime then you would be familiar with phrases like "I was here before you", "are you the last person on the queue?" 🤣

Devices like queue ropes does a whole lot of good, but you can take it steps further by attaching numbers to surfaces as shown in the picture attached.

Do this and Nigerians won't forget your space in a long time.

What a betrayal 🫣🤣🏃🏃

#2:

AUTOMATION

You might not appreciate automation in a space until you stand in front of a motion-sensored door that opens automatically even with your hands full of baggages.

With advanced technology more devices are not just getting smart, but fast becoming a factor to be considered for efficiency and relevance.

So besides an automated door, it won't be a bad idea to also consider 👇

✅ Motion detector lights

✅ Smart thermostat

✅ Smart plugs

✅ LED motion sensor cabinet lights

All these devices and more work in sync to stimulate a feeling of ease within your space, although they sometime cost a fortune 😌

#3:

CONVENIENCES

Of course having restrooms in your facility is non negotiable, but convenience goes beyond those cubicles where we do the numbers 1 and 2 😊

To make your space memorable, consider featuring additional conveniences like 👇

✅ A nap spot (as shown in the picture attached)

✅ A breakfast table (perfect for informal meetings)

✅ A mini lounge (for games and chit chats)

I guarantee you would have more people frequenting your space if you yield my recommendation 😊

Another thing I guarantee is a successful project every time you engage Consult Kenny to make the best of your space. Give us a try via 👇
