THE "1ST IMPRESSIONS" SERIES: POINTS OF ENTRY

THE

"FIRST

 IMPRESSIONS"

 SERIES:

POINTS

OF

ENTRY

Hi peeps,

Trust you are doing great and I guess you are getting down on your goals for the year.

As I take up the series for the month, I sympathize with victims of the California wildfires, I pray that peace abounds within your walls 🙏

Now to the subject of the day; First Impressions

I'm quite confident the concept of first Impression is not alien to my ever intelligent audience and at some points you have all impressed and have been impressed in some ways.

If I may ask, at what points do impressions happen?

Of course multiple answers will suffice and they can all be correct, however one answer we would all agree with is "POINTS OF ENTRY"

Ask well travelled executives or diplomats and they would reveal that points of entry like airports, hotel reception etc goes a long way in helping them predict the potential outcomes of their endeavors in an environment.

So how do you maximize points of entry to create a good and lasting first impression of your space?

In many ways but I would share 3 with you 👇

#1:

FRONT

DESK

In this context the front desk is not restricted to an office table with a receptionist behind. It simply refers to the first point of contact with ur space, and it includes (but not limited to) 👇

✅ Console

✅ Wall Inscriptions

✅ Decorative wall

✅ Backdrop

And don't forget to accesorize them. You will be amazed at how much you will impress your guests with any of these pieces.

#2:

SIGNAGES

You may not understand the importance of signage in your space until a guest who intends to use the restroom ends up in your boardroom or bedroom 😂

To save yourself and your guests from embarrassment, be sure to have signages for 👇

✅ Public spaces (waiting area, lounge, restroom etc)

✅ Private spaces (office, kitchen, utility room etc)

✅ Restricted spaces (simply tag "restricted", avoid tagging restricted spaces by name for security reasons)

And don't forget guests with special needs in your considerations.

Having signages is also a prerequisite to security and safety within your space.

#3:

SCENTS

SOUNDS

Creating an ambience that gives an impression that sticks, requires the right scents and sounds.

The right scent can be achieved using diffusers and scented candles tucked between furniture pieces.

And of course you know the right music played at the right time with a volume that's just appropriate for the space will definitely leave a good and lasting impression on your guests.

Moreover, it's amazing how scents and sounds can be achieved with little efforts and at a reasonable cost.

There are other means to establishing the right aura at the points of entry to your space, many of which you will get to know by simply keeping in touch via 👇
