Hello folks, 

Love is in the air and I guess you have got a couple of outings for the weekend in celebration of Valentine's Day.

Permit me to have your attention for a moment as I open up my world to you with the intention to share one or two insights along the line.

Today's post is about unlikely places and by that I mean places I can afford not to be and yet be fine.

It is however important to note as I proceed, that my choice of these unlikely places does not in any way discredit their relevance, but is somewhat an outcome of my introverted personality, which is a sharp contrast to that of a social butterfly 🦋 😂

So let's explore a few of such places 👇


#1:

THE 

GYM

Absolutely unlikely!!!

Just look closely at the picture attached, and you will realize how my dusty safety boots shows I only had a stop by on my way from a project site 🤩😂😜

I had just found out @Gold'sgym was in the neighborhood and will be hosting a renowned gym instructor.

For your information, Gold's Gym is the symbol of a new fitness culture and was established as far back as the 70s. The brand successfully put the fitness and bodybuilding scene on the map by attracting millions of sports enthusiasts worldwide, and has featured legends like Ric Drasin, Dave Draper, and of course Arnold Schwarzenegger, the inspiration behind this series.

As for me, I took pictures, picked up their brochure and walked home singing a popular Nigerian song "I can't kill myself" by @Timaya 🇳🇬🚶‍♂️🍹 😄

THE 

SALON

Truth be told, I sometimes wish I could have my haircut just once in a year, which explains why it gets bushy sometimes.

So on this particular day I finally decided to have my haircut after over 2 months of keeping it 🪮 💇‍♂️✂️

I found @Hisham Rabea, a barber's shop located in the heart of South Park- Madinaty, and decided to give them a try.

Although I felt good and fresh afterwards, but I'm still not cool with the idea of someone holding on to my head and turning it wherever and whenever he so desires 😅😄

Perhaps we can have a contactless haircut with a simple command like "Siri, cut my hair" 😅

Barbers won't like me for this 😉

THE 

HANGOUT 

I have lost count of how many opportunities for hangouts I have missed and this is not in anyway to downplay the importance of socializing.

It just happens that I often pick up too many tasks in the likely places and end up missing appointments for the unlikely places.

This time around, my colleague @Mustapha took no chance as he ensured I was not left out of this special hangout @openairmall.

I sure had a great time and should say ممتاز (mumtaz) as an expression of my satisfaction 👍

As for me, I'm trying my best to connect with my audience beyond the scope of my job as an interior designer and project manager by referencing cycles of seasons that spans 2 decades of my life, ranging from year 2004 to 2024.
