THE "SECOND CHANCE" SERIES 3: NINETY-NINE

THE

"SECOND

CHANCE"

SERIES 3:

NINETY

NINE!!!

Hi guys,

Trust this post meets you well.

It's been an interesting one all through the month of April as I have been helping my audience overcome the obstacles to making the best of their spaces.

Today I choose to take a detour with the sub-heading "Ninety-nine" as I wrap up The "Second Chance" Series, and here's why.

It is obvious that the entire Consult Kenny posts in April (even including May and June) is not enough to convey the insights available, as I could go ahead with not just nine, but ninety-nine ideas on this subject.

So with reflection on the parable of the 99 sheep versus 1 lost sheep in the Holy book, there is that ONE concept of second chance that may seem lost among the rest but I would love to share with my audience in exchange for what would have been the ninth idea for making over your space.

I hope you would pardon me for the change, so instead of 3, I will be sharing 2 more ideas for your space, and then a food for your soul 👉🏽

#1:

BULKHEAD

Having pipes and cable trunks installed all around your ceiling and wall edges?, then adopt the bulkhead concept.

Bulkheads serve both aesthetic and practical purposes as they are used to create a visual "step" between different areas, add more perimeter lighting to a space, and conceal utilities conveyed in pipes and trunks like air-conditioning and the likes.

Besides the visual impact, bulkheads can help hide unsightly structural elements, reduce noise, and create a finished look as seen in the marked section of the picture attached.

#2:

WALL

PANELS

Whether it's made of wood, PVC or metal, wall panels are great for quick and effective makeovers.

One interesting thing about wall panels is it's ability to blend with existing elements and furniture pieces in a space.

For instance, you won't be wrong having them around a T.V console you have had for a decade, or as seen in the picture attached, tucked into a recess that has been laying bare for a while.

And if you have cracks and buckles that keeps reoccurring on your walls, wall panels is a perfect solution for disguising them, just check with a builder or structural engineer to be sure there is no cause for alarm before covering.

#3:

MAKE IT

UP

Now taking a detour

There is nothing worth giving a second chance more than matters relating to the soul. Making over a space is great but can't be compared to making it up with those you have a fallout with.

If you have heard the quote "hurt people, hurt people" then you would get to see the importance of letting go of all the hurts and pains, which is the least I would recommend to anyone in a shaky or broken relationship at this time.

I admit making it up is tough and I wouldn't advise you go that route if your safety and sanity is not guaranteed in the hands of the other party, however there are trained professionals in relationship management, conflict resolution and mediation that can help you through the journey.

And I'm confident you can have a jab at a second chance not just with you spaces but also with your relationships.
