THE "SECOND CHANCE" SERIES: TAKE 3

THE

"SECOND

CHANCE"

SERIES:

TAKE 3!!!

Hi folks,

Trust you are having a good time this weekend. It's that time again when I launch the series for the month.

I'm so excited to have you here, and that's largely because the agenda for this quarter is to help my audience overcome the obstacles hindering you from making the best of your space.

Many atimes we nurse the notion that it costs a lot to have a decent apartment or work space for our day-to-day use. While cost is a valid concern, it is also important to mention that there are simple yet effective means to make your space stand a chance of a decent makeover, without having to rob a bank.

My mission all through The "Second Chance" Series is therefore to share insights and ideas establishing the afforementioned claim.

Looking through the calendar, I realized there are just 3 Saturdays left in April, and so I thought to take 3 shots per week to arrive at 9 insights you will find helpful in the bid to bring life to your space, using what you have at hand.

Positioning and layout is a good place to start and here is what you need to know👇

#1:

KNOW

THE

SHAPE

Revamping your space begins with first knowing the kind of shape you have to work with.

I can tell you for free that almost everything about your space has to do with the shape.

For instance, a rectangular space is more ideal for segmenting than a square space, while an irregular shaped space might require the input of a professional to make it work.

A good place to start is by first taking a simple sketch of your space noting the position of the doors, windows and other elements that determines the functions to be carried out within the space.

Making adjustments based on the knowledge of shape could be the magic wand to transforming your space and giving it that second chance it deserves.

#2:

TAKE

A

STOCK

Just as account audits help businesses know the profitability of their going concern, seeking to know what you have existing in there goes a long way in helping you achieve efficiency with your space.

A simple list of what you have (using a space by space approach) creates clarity about what fits and what doesn't.

A rule of thumb is to retain what fits and discard the rest, but I'm almost certain you are thinking "everything I have in my space fits".

In this case, my recommendation is that you keep the items you don't use everyday out in a storage space, then resolve to discard the items you don't place a demand for between 6-12 months.

#3:

CHANGE

WHAT

GOES

WHERE

Now that you are familiar with the shape of your space and clear about what to retain and discard, placement and positioning is next.

And if you think this is something you do once in a lifetime, you should have a rethink.

The secret to giving life to your space could be in a simple switch of your focal wall, or reorientation of your sofa settee, however the issue is that an average human won't attempt to change things once they are set up.

I therefore challenge you to dare to do the unusual in the course of this series.

Trust me you are not alone on this, as I am just a click away to helping you get started and ensuring your project is a success 👇
